I’ve always been a tomboy growing up to where I was teased about it. I’ve always loved being outdoors, playing rough with the boys, being competitive. That led me to playing sports in school, specifically collegiate basketball. I loved the process of training & getting ready for the season just as much or more than the actual games. After college I felt lost & depressed because all I knew was basketball. Long story short, I continued to workout, eat healthy, take care of my body out of habit not necessarily for looks, but for performance. I loved being an athlete & having this confident feeling when I walk in a gym & being considered one of the more fit individuals. My opinion on fitness & a healthy lifestyle hasn’t changed much but my outlook has. After seeing my friends/family get older, the need & importance for keeping your body healthy in all aspects & the impact I can have in someone’s life, it’s the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done. To help people live longer & better, be more confident, & fixing issues they’ve been dealing with for years is something I am genuinely passionate about.
My goal is to not only get clients to reach their personal goals, but also help people feel like athletes again, to feel proud that they can still do things they haven’t done or been able to do. I want to eliminate as many health related issues so life can be more enjoyable for each individual & for future generations.
